Cincinnati is now HUGE Jets and Chiefs fans tomorrow.
Do you believe it?
It was not pretty, but the Cincinnati Bengals found a way to win it on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers, 19-17, keeping their slim hopes alive to make the NFL Playoffs.
Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Trey Hendrickson led the Bengals into Pittsburgh and escaped with a classic AFC North battle.
Now that the Bengals have rattled off five straight wins, going from 4-8 to 9-8 on the season, the team sits and waits for a chance at the playoffs.
It is hard to believe, but this team has found their swagger and would be a dangerous team in postseason play, should they make it…
Cincinnati now needs some help from the New York Jets and the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Bengals need the Jets to beat the Miami Dolphins and the Chiefs to beat the Denver Broncos. Should those two things happen tomorrow afternoon, the Bengals will then become the 7-seed in the AFC Playoffs.
However, the odds of this happening are very slim, as the Jets have laid down as of late, while the Chiefs are resting their best players.
There is still a lot to ask for, but the Bengals have done their job and won out to end the regular season.
