Must win plus some.
If the Cincinnati Bengals want to keep their playoff hopes alive in Week 18, a win against the Pittsburgh Steelers is a must. Heading in to the matchup, the Bengals released their final injury report, which lists five Bengal starters as questionable.
Running back Chase Brown (ankle) did not participate in practice again on Thursday, but the team listed him as questionable to play. Brown suffered the injury while attempting to go down short of the goal line in the Week 17 win over the Denver Broncos.
Wide receiver Tee Higgins (knee/ankle) is also questionable. Higgins was on the report last week as well, but had a monster performance against Denver and did not appear to aggravate anything further.
Offensive tackle Amarius Mims (ankle/hand) is listed as questionable as well. Mims gave it a go against Denver but ended up exiting the game. Cody Ford could be back in line to start at right tackle if Mims can’t go.
Cam Taylor-Britt (ankle) is also questionable. The Bengal defensive backfield has been decimated by injury this season, and it could lead to a tall task against George Pickens if Taylor-Britt can’t go.
Tight end Drew Sample (groin) also appears questionable, but head coach Zac Taylor told reporters on Thursday that he expects Sample to play.
Sam Hubbard (knee) was ruled out.
For the Steelers, starting cornerback Donte Jackson (back) is questionable. Backups Roman Wilson (hamstring), Logan Lee (calf), and Cole Holcomb (knee) are out. Everyone else is good to go.
