Will RB1 suit up in Week 18?
As the Cincinnati Bengals get set to face the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chase Brown remains highly questionable to play.
After injuring his ankle late in the win over the Denver Broncos, Brown was unable to finish the game. He was replaced by Khalil Herbert, who performed admirably in relief, but the Bengals still could really use Chase to win at Pittsburgh.
Entering Week 18, Brown’s 75.7 PFF grade ranks 17th among 54 NFL running backs who are getting at least 20% of their team’s offensive snaps. His 76.8 receiving grade ranks sixth.
Unfortunately, the practice week is not off to a good start for Brown, who was not seen at Tuesday’s walkthrough.

Before practice, head coach Zac Taylor gave a simple “We’ll see” when asked about Brown.
Once Brown left Saturday’s win over Denver, Herbert came in and rushed for 23 yards on four carries. For the season, he has 61 yards and one score on 16 carries. Since being traded for a seventh-round NFL Draft pick from the Chicago Bears, he has 45 yards on eight carries in Cincinnati.
The Bengals’ only other back on the 53-man roster is Trayveon Williams, while Kendall Milton and Gary Brightwell could be called up from the practice squad.
