10 winners and zero losers in Bengals’ win over Browns

Cincinnati dominated their rivals this week, continuing to stay alive for the playoffs.

The Cincinnati Bengals are on a winning streak!

Following their 24-6 win over the Cleveland Browns, the Bengals have now won three straight and are right in the thick of the playoff race.

Here is a look at today’s 10 winners and zero losers.

Winners

Joe Burrow:

While it was a slow second half, Burrow put forth a solid first two quarters and a three-touchdown performance. His seventh such performance this year puts him in the echelon of Dan Marino, Peyton Manning, and Tom Brady for single-season numbers.

While the offense sputtered in the final two quarters, Burrow had a highlight-reel touchdown in the first quarter and other big plays. He continues his MVP pace.

Lou Anarumo:

A new quarterback, a different offensive style, and a myriad of changes didn’t phase Anarumo’s group. They forced three turnovers—two towards the goal line—as the team allowed just six points. After a rough start to the season that had Anarumo on the hot seat, he’s probably saved his job for 2025.

Jordan Battle:

The second-year safety has had some ups and downs this year, but he had a whale of a game on Sunday. Between reading passes well and getting a timely fourth-quarter interception, he’s rounding into form as a true starter with big play potential.

Mike Hilton:

Anarumo has been blitzing Hilton more in the last few weeks, and it has been paying off in spades. The veteran defensive back was omnipresent once again with big tackles this week.

Kris Jenkins, Jr.:

The rookie interior defensive lineman is making folks forget about the absence of Sheldon Rankins. Jenkins had two sacks in this one, providing a much-needed interior pass rush. This wasn’t necessarily his forte in college, so it’s great to see it coming into form early in his career.

Chase Brown:

The second-year back has been the third-most productive back, in terms of yards from scrimmage, since Zack Moss hit I.R., only behind Saquon Barkley and Ja’Marr Chase. He hit over 100 yards from scrimmage again this week (91 rushing) despite the offense hitting the skids in the second half.

Geno Stone:

Don’t look now, but everyone’s favorite villain from most of the year is becoming one of the best players down the stretch. He’s had four interceptions this year, with three coming in the last three games. His pick against the Browns was a tide-turner in a game that became uncomfortable.

Andrei Iosivas:

There have been peaks and valleys this year for “Yoshi”, but he came up with a couple of huge catches this week. Iosivas had a touchdown catch and a big fourth-quarter reception to help seal the deal.

The Orange Pants:

The new uniform addition has seen hard times this year. However, in a must-win week against a team with which Zac Taylor has had trouble, the orange pants made a comeback in what turned into a fairly easy win.

Cade York:

Initially, it looked like a dog of a day for the reserve kicker after he missed a 47-yarder. But, on a Hail Mary of a play before the half, Taylor dialed up a 59-yard attempt with York to close out the half. The embattled former Browns kicker nailed it for a gut-punch of a conversion.
