The first-ever twelve-team College Football Playoff continues this afternoon with a first-round game between the Clemson Tigers and the Texas Longhorns. Clemson ended their season with a 10 and 3 record. Clemson then defeated the SMU Mustangs in the ACC championship game before earning their spot in this season’s playoffs. Texas is coming off an 11 and 2 season, with both of their losses coming to the Georgia Bulldogs, including their last game, a loss to the Bulldogs in the SEC championship game.
