Colts Reacts Survey: Fallen Titans

Colts Reacts Survey: Fallen Titans

Both teams have seen much better days as far as the AFC South is concerned, so how are you feeling, Colts fans?

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Indianapolis Colts fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.

The Indianapolis Colts (6-8) host the Tennessee Titans (3-11) and much like when the Horseshoe took on another longtime nemesis, the New England Patriots, a few weeks ago, both of these teams have seen much better days—when the rivalry meant a lot more.

The Titans are thinking more about who they’ll take with a Top 5 draft pick in April, than they are about trying to competitively win football games—having benched struggling 2nd-year starter Will Levis for backup Mason Rudolph.

It’s a far cry from when the Colts and Titans went head-to-head atop the AFC South—and even in the NFL MVP race among their superstar quarterbacks, when each AFC South stalwart was led by Peyton Manning and the late Steve McNair respectively.

Even longtime warhorse Derrick Henry isn’t coming back to save these fallen Titans.

However, they aren’t the only squad in desperate need of star reinforcements these days.

The Colts no longer represent anything close to the perennial AFC Super Bowl contender that the franchise once proudly boasted seemingly year-after-year during the Manning era—when you were guaranteed 11-14 wins per year and a playoff berth.

Who’s most to blame for the Colts franchise’s current underwhelming state?

And do you think the Colts can beat the lowly Titans for a home victory?
