The New York Giants travel to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Georgia on Sunday to face the Atlanta Falcons at 1 p.m. ET on FOX. The 2-12 Giants, losers of nine straight games, are heavy underdogs against the 7-7 Falcons.
The Giants have more riding on this game, and the final three games of the season, than one might think.
New York has never lost 10 consecutive games in a single season, an ignominious mark the team would set with a loss on Sunday.
The Giants are currently No. 2 in the 2025 NFL Draft order. They have a 36.8% chance of earning the No. 1 overall pick, per Pro Football Network. A single victory over their final three games, something the players, head coach Brian Daboll and GM Joe Schoen would like very much to achieve, raises the possibility they could tumble all the way to No. 7 in the eventual draft order.
With Drew Lock (heel) and Tommy DeVito (concussion) uncertain to be available, the Giants may have to start Tim Boyle at quarterback. Boyle would be the team’s fourth starting quarterback this season.
