Can the Bengals string together wins down the stretch?
The Cincinnati Bengals (5-8) are set to visit Nashville this upcoming weekend to take on the Tennessee Titans (3-10).
Since 2020, the Bengals and Titans have played so much that they might as well be division rivals at this point.
Since Burrow arrived, the Titans and Bengals have created a small rivalry, and games have been incredibly competitive, including a divisional game in Nashville during the Bengals’ Super Bowl run.
Things are quite different this year, though. Both teams currently hold losing records, and former Bengals OC Brian Callahan is now the head coach in Nashville.
Callahan brought over a few Cincinnati veterans, including Tyler Boyd and Chidobe Awuzie.
It will be somewhat of a reunion for all of these guys, but the Bengals must come out of Nissan Stadium with a win to keep playoff hopes alive.
The Titans offense has struggled under Callahan this season, with Will Levis leading the charge in his second season.
Levis has posted 1,827 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.
The Titans do have an athletic duo in the backfield with Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears.
At receiver, Tennessee is led by free agent signing Calvin Ridley, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, and Boyd.
On the defensive side, the team is led by veterans Jeff Simmons, Harold Landry, and former Charger Kenneth Murray.
The defense is still talented in Nashville, despite the record, and the Bengals offense will need to be on target to get the win.
What do you think will be the outcome of this AFC battle at Nissan Stadium on Sunday?
