OK then
Colorado coach Deion Sanders on Saturday branded as “a lie” a report that his son Shedeur, who could be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, would refuse to play for the New York Giants.
NFL Rookie Watch wrote that “there is reportedly a “high likelihood” Sanders would refuse to play if he was drafted by either the Giants or Browns.”
NFL Rookie Watch also wrote that “Many NFL scouts reportedly believe the Giants will end up “settling” for Cam Ward, knowing Sanders wouldn’t play for them.”
Deion Sanders took to ‘X’ to dispute the report. He wrote:
A Lie don’t care who tells it. Please stop trying to become relevant by misrepresenting my son. God bless you.
The 2-11 Giants currently have the No. 2 overall pick, per Tankathon. Pro Football Network gives the Giants a 38.9% chance of earning the first overall pick.
Sanders is currently the consensus No. 1 overall, per NFL Mock Draft Database. He was seen in New York City on Friday night playing catch on the side of the street with Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers.
