The Giants suffer another offensive line injury
The New York Giants injury situation got worse on their first drive of the second half, as left guard Jon Runyan Jr. suffered an ankle injury. Runyan was ruled questionable on the Giants’ next drive.

Runyan was blocking on a Tyrone Tracy run in an attempt to convert a third-and-3, but was caught in the trash and his right leg appeared to be rolled up on. The Giants have struggled to run the ball, particularly up the middle, and the Giants’ offensive line had already been giving up pressure up the middle.
The Giants are already scraping the bottom of their depth chart on the offensive line. Reserve interior offensive lineman Aaron Stinnie took the field at left guard in relief of Runyan on the Giants ensuing drive. They will now be playing backups at three of their five offensive line positions: left tackle, left guard, and right tackle.
