Some notes
- Before the injury report was released, the Chiefs announced that they had placed kicker Spencer Shrader (hamstring) on their Reserve/Injured list. With the vacant spot, they added kicker Matthew Wright to their 53-man roster. Starting kicker Harrison Butker remains on the Reserve/Injured list.
- On their injury report, the Chiefs only listed three players — tight end Noah Gray (shoulder), defensive lineman Charles Omenihu (knee) and right tackle Jawaan Taylor (knee) — but they were all full participants to begin the week.
- The Chargers listed nine players on their injury report, including rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey (knee/shoulder), who was limited. McConkey did not play for most of the second half in the Chargers’ last game against the Atlanta Falcons. He leads the Chargers with 815 receiving yards.
- Linebacker Daiyan Henley (knee) was the only Chargers player who did not practice due to injury. Henley played nearly every defensive snap for Los Angeles last week.
- Cornerback Cam Hart (knee) and linebacker Denzel Perryman (groin), who both missed the last two games for the Chargers, were limited to start the week.
