Can the Bills keep rolling when the 49ers come to town?
Sunday Night Football will see the Buffalo Bills host the San Francisco 49ers. We may be in for a snowy treat as 20 inches of snow fell in Buffalo yesterday into today. There is also snow in the forecast for the game.
The Bills have become the team on par with the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC again after ending their undefeated season prior to the bye week. Now they get to come out at home with an disappointing 49ers team on deck.
Quarterback Josh Allen has willed an offense most thought would fall off to what may end up being an MVP season. He has 23 total touchdowns and almost 3,000 total yards on the season. He has been a one-man wrecking crew member at times for the offense.
San Francisco is 5-6, slowly watching their season fall to the wayside. Brock Purdy missed last week with soreness, but he should be back this week. However, his stats capture the 49ers season pretty well. He has 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions. It hasn’t helped that running back Cristian McCaffrey missed most of the season, while George Kittle, Deebo Samuels, and Brandon Aiyuk have all been in and out of the lineup as well this year.
Nothing this team has done has really made it look like they are close to competing for a Super Bowl.
FanDuel Sportsbook currently has the Bills as 6.5-point favorites, which shows you the disparity between these teams right now. The Bills seem poised to keep their run going under the lights of Sunday Night Football.
