Your Predictions For Miami Dolphins @ Green Bay Packers Plus Players You Would Steal

Your Predictions For Miami Dolphins @ Green Bay Packers Plus Players You Would Steal

Earlier this week, I asked the customary questions before the game against the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving. Below are some of your thoughts and answers-

If you could steal any player from the Green Bay Packers roster to place on the Miami Dolphins roster, which player would it be and why?

21Dave is interested in some line help, secondary help, and maybe a QB.

Jenkins , Clark,Alexander and McKinny . Love has to do more for me. He is tickling my interest but he has more to prove for me!!

SuperG! wants the Packs’ excellent safety.

We need a safety, right? So the answer to Mr. McKinney’s question is his namesake.

Bill Moody is starting the “Fire Grier” bandwagon. All aboard!

Their GM.

DolphinsKings1 is hoping for some depth.

Jaire Alexander CB. Because we need depth at the corner position.

phinfan413 wants their starting QB.

Jordan Love

phinette wants a corner and some guard/tackle/center types.

Elgton Jenkins, Josh Meyers or Jaire Alexander

A) What will the final score be in this week’s Miami Dolphins game against the Green Bay Packers?

B) What other predictions do you have for the upcoming game against the Green Bay Packers? (stars of the game, etc.)

Francesco’s ITA was mostly correct, although we needed 31, but 24 to 27 is much more respectable than 13 freaking points.

The idea is that to be in the game and have a chance to win we need to score at least 24-27 points …

SlayerNation1 was wrong on the score but correct on the need to blow up the narratives surrounding this team. Sadly, they could not pull it off.

MIA 27 GB 24

I know I shall regret falling for this yet again. My only flimsy excuse is that the Offense has changed to a more portable version. The big unknown is how it will perform without a lead start to finish. The BUF game was encouraging.

Despite the “Frozen Tundra” sobriquet, it is a heated field. The SF/GB game, they mentioned how slippery the field was. That may be an issue.

Get Tyreek on a jet sweep or anything early to keep him engaged. Limit the bubble screens. Malik, careful on your punt returns, you have been playing with fire. Sieler will have his usual impact play, Chop two sacks. Someone needs to cover their TE Kraft competently, He is underrated.

Time to take a flamethrower to the narratives all in one game.

Yarganaught was as hopeful as most of us were.

I don’t think the Packers figure out how to shut down Miami’s newfound short yardage game with Achane and the TE… and still keep Hill/Waddle from breaking a long TD. It’ll really depend on how well Miami does in the Redzone. But ToP will go to Miami. Score: 26 – 17 Miami wins.

David7777 predicted a better outcome than we were treated to.

Rams, Raiders and Patriots all stacked the box on us. GB will not be as worried about our running game as it was non existent those 3 games, and they will try to clog up the passing lanes. That will be their downfall.

Although Jackson is greatly missed, Wynn and Ingold coming back will be the difference in this game. Fins Rush for 175 yards and Jacobs is held in check. Second half GB stacks the box and Tua lights them up downfield.

Fins 30

GB 24

Francesco ITA was concerned, but there was nothing to worry about. The Phins did not play well, and it was not that close.

the worst thing would be to play well and lose a close call game …

edwinpena was sad with the rest of us.

Phins run, and pass to backs and J. Smith, rattle Pack underneath, then a couple of big long pass plays late when Pack tries to adjust to the underneath game.

Miami 24- Pack 17

cyberflea was correct about this being a tough game.

This is one of the toughest games left on the schedule. However, the Dolphins will silence all the so-called experts and finally win a game in cold weather under Mike McD. Achane has to have a big game on offense and rising star Chop Robinson will get two sacks. Fins must protect the football as Green Bay’s defense is one of the better units taking away the ball. Fins need to shut down Jacobs on defense. Green Bay will be the frozen turkeys as the Fins win 24-20.

DolphinsKings1 takes his assignment seriously. Sadly the Dolphins did not.

Dolphins 31 Packers 28 (The Packers will to comeback but fail in the end on the onside kick). (Dolphins will be up 17-7 at the half).

PASSING

Tua 26 of 38 278 yards 3 TD’s 1Int

RUSHING

Achane 18 carries 57 1TD

Mostert 13 carries 77 yards

Wright 4 carries 12 yards

RECEIVING

Hill 10 catches 82 yards

Smith 5 catches 47 yards 1 TD

Waddle 4 catches 66 yards 1 TD

Achane 4 catches 23 yards

Washington 1 catch 15 yards 1 TD

Cracraft 1 catch 32 yards

Beckham 1 catch 3 yards (CUT HIM PLEASE)! What a waste.

DEFENSE

5 SACKS Sieler, Brooks, Ramsey, Chop 2

2 Ints Kohou and Duck

phinette also had high hopes that were dashed.

Fins 27-24

We finally win a game against a playoff caliber team and break the cold weather jinx.

Pack will shut down the middle, so we torch them with the run in the first half and the pass in the second half. Our defense will give up a few big plays but come up big when it matters.

Louie the lobster had it as a three point game. I wish it had been that close.

27-24 Phins

Tua2HillWaddle got the “ugly game” part correct.

20-17 Fins. Sanders fg with time expiring after a hard fought ugly game littered with turnovers by both teams – weather a big factor.

JTSurtainlyOwnedBrady thought this would be the game that would change the narrative.

MIA 23 GB 20.

MIA breaks its streak of 11 straight cold weather (sub 40° temp) match-up losses on a 52 yard FG by Sanders as time expires.

It seems sad to see our fans show so much faith in a team, as I did, only to fail even to compete or be in the game. I hope they can learn from this game, especially the front office which needs to look to add players to this roster in the future, which will make the team tougher all around. I know that comes from the coaching staff and the standards they set, but having some tougher/meaner players on this team, especially along the lines, could not hurt this team as we advance.

Thank you, as always, to all who took the time to read our posts and answer our questions.
