The latest news on Philadelphia and Baltimore.
The Philadelphia Eagles issued their first official injury report on Wednesday in advance of their Week 13 road game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Note that this report is an estimation because the team held a walkthrough in lieu of a normal practice.
The Eagles listed three players under DID NOT PARTICIPATE: DeVonta Smith, Darius Slay, and Kelee Ringo.
Smith did not practice last week and missed the Los Angeles Rams game due to a hamstring injury that seemingly worsened after previously playing through it for multiple games. If Smith is out this week, the Eagles will once again roll with the following five wide receivers: A.J. Brown, Jahan Dotson, Johnny Wilson, Britain Covey, and Ainias Smith.
Slay suffered a concussion during the Eagles’ Week 12 win. He might not be cleared in time to play this weekend. We’ll see how he progresses over the next couple days. If Slay isn’t ready to suit up, Isaiah Rodgers will make his second start this season. Rodgers has played relatively well whenever he’s been called into action; he’s allowing just a 79.8 passer rating when targeted. Slay is allowing a 93.0 passer rating.
Ringo got banged up in LA; he’s dealing with a calf injury. If he can’t play, Eli Ricks figures to be active as the top backup behind Rodgers and Quinyon Mitchell.
The Eagles listed seven players under LIMITED PARTICIPATION: Saquon Barkley, Jordan Mailata, Landon Dickerson, Cam Jurgens, Mekhi Becton, Lane Johnson, and Josh Sweat.
They’re all listed with “rest” designations. They’ll be able to play on Sunday.
Note that Brandon Graham doesn’t appear on the Eagles’ injury report because he was officially moved to injured reserve on Tuesday evening.
Graham appeared to be in good spirits while watching his teammates practice. Nice to see.
Non-injury practice news: Charles Harris is wearing No. 95 and KJ Henry is wearing No. 50.
Quick #JerseyNumberAnalytics ruling: That’s a good get for Harris for joining the team in late November. He can be a solid rotational edge rusher. Henry needs a better number if he’s going to be called up from the practice squad.

BALTIMORE RAVENS INJURY REPORT (WEDNESDAY)
The Ravens also held a walkthrough on Wednesday after flying back to Baltimore early on Tuesday morning following their Monday night game.
The Ravens ruled three players under DNP: co-sack leader Kyle Van Noy, third tight end Charlie Kolar, and depth cornerback Arthur Maulet.
KVN got banged up on Monday night. His status bears monitoring this week. The Ravens’ pass defense already isn’t great, so, not ideal if they’re missing one of their top edge rushers.
The Ravens listed four players under limited: top linebacker Roquan Smith, No. 2 defensive tackle Travis Jones, nose tackle Michael Pierce, and special teams contributor Sanoussi Kane.
Smith missed Week 12 due to a hamstring injury. Seems like he might be able to return against the Eagles. Obviously a big deal if he can’t suit up.
Jones ranks second on the Ravens in defensive tackle snaps played. He suited up in Week 12 despite being ruled questionable to play.
Pierce’s 21-day practice window to return from IR was opened on Wednesday. The Ravens would like to have him available against the Eagles’ rushing attack.
Kane, who ranks second on the Ravens in special teams tackles, missed Week 12 due to an ankle injury. He might be able to play this week.
