Chicago dreams have given way once more to being just bad and stupid
Thanksgiving is a time to catch up with friends, family and so much more, all while football roars on somewhere. It’s a good and honest and proper tradition and the Lions have been the fixture forever on that football side. Enjoy time with your loved ones, and give a thought for the Chicago Bears, a team thoroughly plagued and now forced into the den for the Detroit Lions to take on. Yes, it’s a short week for the Lions, but same for a Bears team that’s been getting its heart ripped out repeatedly with a coaching staff on hand that has few answers.
On this preview PODcast, we welcome in Jonas Knox—national radio host of football-focused “2 Pros and a Cup of Joe”—to help go through therapy of a long suffering Bears fan (I think, at least). But more than that, Jonas and I got to chop up what the season has been so far for both the Bears and Lions, and puts my own reservations about the season into perspective—one team may be cursed right now but it’s not the Lions. We dissect both the Bears and Lions, look at the Thanksgiving game and talk about how the division has shaken out so far.
