Can the Chargers win at home and beat the Ravens on Monday Night Football
The Monday Night Football game may be the game of the week in Week 12 of NFL action. Coming off of a loss, the Baltimore Ravens will travel to SoFi Stadium to play the Los Angeles Chargers who have won four in a row. These are two of the better teams in the AFC going at it in primetime with potential playoff implications on the line.
After looking like one of the best teams in the NFL, the Ravens have lost two of their last four games. Those losses are both road division losses, but were unexpected nonetheless. The Ravens are just 3-3 on the road this season, but can’t afford another loss if they want to stay in contention for the AFC North title. Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry will need to have big games offensively.
On the other side, the Chargers have been one of the hottest teams in the NFL. Jim Harbaugh has made the Chargers what everyone knew they were capable of with the talent on that roster. Justin Herbert hasn’t thrown an interception since Week 2. If he had more yards, he would very likely be in the MVP conversation. While Herbert has been impressive, it’s the defense that has really stolen the show. Jesse Minter has the Chargers defense playing like one of the best.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Ravens are three-point favorites on the road. Much like last week, that seems almost disrespectful to a Chargers team that has just as good of a record and is playing at home. While it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Ravens win, Jackson could struggle against this Chargers secondary. The Chargers only have one loss at home this season and are playing good football.
The Pick: Chargers (+3)
