The Los Angeles Chargers will host the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football in Week 12.
The schedule makers had to know what they were doing when they scheduled this game, pitting Jim Harbough against John Harbaugh just before Thanksgiving. It also just so happens that these are two of the best teams in the AFC and the NFL as a whole. They’re also pretty similar teams, with elite quarterbacks, strong running games, and tough defenses.
The Ravens are the more mature team, but are only 2.5-point favorites on the road per FanDuel sports book.
Chris’ Picks
The fans. Honestly, this should be an excellent game and the fans should be the real winners.
As for which team is going to win, I think I have to go with the Ravens though it should be close and could really go either way. Justin Herbert is playing well and the Chargers are a team nobody wants to play under Jim Harbaugh.
However, Lamar Jackson is playing at an MVP level and as good as the Chargers’ defense has been, the Ravens are that good running and throwing the ball. As long as Baltimore’s defense is good enough to slow down the Chargers’ league-average offense, the Ravens should be able to dictate the flow of the game.
