The Eagles are holding steady at No. 2 for now.

With 15 of 16 NFC teams done playing in Week 11, it’s time for a look at the updated NFL playoff picture.

The Philadelphia Eagles are currently the No. 2 seed with a 1.5-game lead in the NFC East after beating the Washington Commanders on Thursday night.

The Birds would’ve liked to see the Detroit Lions lose in order to make up ground on the No. 1 seed for a first-round bye. But the Lions absolutely annihilated Doug Pederson’s Jacksonville Jaguars in a 52 to 6 victory.

The Eagles did get some more cushion at No. 2 with the Atlanta Falcons — who notably have a head-to-head tiebreaker over Philly — getting blown out by the Denver Broncos. So, there’s that … though the Eagles would still prefer the Falcons to win the NFC South instead of Todd Bowles’ Tampa Bay Bucccaneers.

If the Eagles finish the regular season as the No. 2 seed, they’ll host the No. 7 seed at Lincoln Financial Field during the Wild Card round. That’s currently set to be … the Commanders … who the Eagles will play at FedEx Field in Week 16.

Still plenty of time for things to change with six weeks left to play.
