The first half was as physical as advertised, and Baltimore might have a ten-point lead if not for two missed Justin Tucker field goal attempts. Odafe Oweh led a Baltimore pass rush that accounted for four first-half sacks on Pittsburgh quarterback Russell Wilson. Both teams struggled on third down, and the Steelers went into the locker room up 9-7.
