The Rams called up Jonah Williams and Geron Christian to play against the Patriots
The Los Angeles Rams activated two players from the practice squad on Saturday, calling up defensive end Jonah Williams and tackle Geron Christian to be ready to face the New England Patriots on Sunday. The Rams need more reinforcements on the offensive line with Joe Noteboom doubtful and Rob Havenstein already ruled out for another game, so Christian will be the next person up after Warren McClendon.
The 28-year-old Christian is in his seventh NFL season after previously having played for the Commanders, Texans, Chiefs, and Browns. He was also active for the Rams in Week 2, playing two special teams snaps against the Cardinals.
Williams is in his fourth NFL season, starting his career in 2021 with the Rams as an undrafted free agent. He will be active for the fifth time this season.
