The owners will also consider whether to allow New York Giants co-owner Steve Tish, who is embroiled in controversy related to the Epstein files, to transfer his 23.1 percent stake in the team to a trust for his children.
Will Giants’ Chris Mara take on larger role during NFL League Meeting? | USAToday.com
The Giants appear to be going through a shift in their ranks. There are only six people on the team’s board of directors. The Maras are represented by John, his brother, Chris, and their sister, Susan McDonnell. The Tisches are represented by Steve, his brother, Jonathan, who serves as the team’s treasurer, and their sister, Laurie.
Chris Mara, whose official title is “senior player personnel director,” has been the point man for several of the team’s major moves this offseason, most notably the courting and hiring of John Harbaugh as head coach. He could be asked to step up and be the face of the Giants for the foreseeable future. Chris has been active in the college recruiting process. He was present at Ohio State’s pro day on Wednesday in Columbus. That’s nothing new. He’s always done that, but now he could be asked to do more.

How Ohio State defensive star already has NY Giants legacy to uphold | The Record
Caleb Downs already has the “Once a Giant, Always a Giant” legacy as part of his football DNA.
His father, Gary, was an NFL running back and special teamer as the New York Giants’ 1994 third-round pick. His pro career spanned three different teams and lasted six years, while Josh Downs, Caleb’s older brother, is a wide receiver for the Indianapolis Colts. Their uncle is Dre Bly, an 11-year NFL veteran.
Sonny Styles would love to play a Kyle Hamilton-type role in the NFL | NFL.com
He’s been compared to All-Pro linebacker Fred Warner with his ability to affect the middle of the defense. The other comp given to Style, because of his versatility, is Baltimore Ravens star safety Kyle Hamilton. The comparisons to Hamilton have led many to mock Styles to the New York Giants, who, with new coach John Harbaugh, could use a versatile playmaker in the middle of the defense.
“I think it just depends what coordinator you go to, what scheme you go to,” he said. “You know, Kyle Hamilton is one of those guys that can do a lot all over the field. He’s an amazing player. So, I’d love to be in a scheme where I can do multiple roles and help a defense win. I think what’s nice about having a coordinator who’s able to put you in so many different positions and utilize you in that way, it’s helping the entire defense because you become more unpredictable when there’s guys like that on your defense who can do so many different things.”
Sean McVay praised OBJ for his “emotional intelligence”
The Giants would be getting a guy who’s on the back end of his career, but the move would still make sense. The Giants need some receiving depth behind Malik Nabers, and although they added Darnell Mooney and Calvin Austin in free agency, there’s still room for Beckham on the roster. And let’s not forget, Nabers has already been trying to recruit Beckham to the Big Apple.
Also, new Giants coach John Harbaugh is extremely familiar with Beckham after coaching him in Baltimore in 2023, a season where the receiver caught 35 passes for 565 yards and three touchdowns.

New York Giants: CB Paulson Adebo. The injury-prone Adebo got paid big bucks last offseason based on a standout 2023 campaign. But he struggled to stay on the field and was often exposed in coverage in his first year with the G-Men. His $24.2 million 2026 cap hit ranks fourth in the league among players at his position.
