Las Vegas Raiders minority owner Tom Brady was in the spotlight this weekend and addressed the NFL’s almost trade. The failed trade in which the Raiders reportedly agreed to send Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens.
During an appearance at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, Brady was asked by reporters about the attempt to trade Crosby.
“You know, I love being involved in the NFL. As I said, I love football. I love sports,” Brady said.
”You know, I was very fortunate in my career to be around amazing people and mentors like Robert Kraft, as an owner of a team, and now getting to work with Mark Davis in the role that I’m at, to see kind of a different team shape, the way that things are done and how we’re evolving and growing, and, you know, we certainly have a long ways to go.”
While it was for sure not a direct answer, Brady has already been a locked-down diplomat for the football team. He understands the impact of his words and has the media savvy to represent the franchise well. Now it is time to start stacking good seasons with his answers.
