The Miami Dolphins’ roster has plenty of holes due to the massive rebuild that new general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan has begun since taking the job in South Florida. While acquiring many lower-tier free agents — minus their star acquisition of quarterback Malik Willis — the team could still use help in a plethora of positions. With the 2026 NFL Draft kicking off in less than one month, and the Dolphins owning 11 picks in the selection process, they’ll have every opportunity to infuse the roster with young, quality talent.
On Tuesday, ESPN’s Field Yates released a two-round mock draft — and if his selections for Miami were to come to pass next month when the draft begins, plenty of Dolphins fans would be heavily praising the picks.
At number 11, Yates has the Dolphins taking University of Miami offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa.
Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami
New general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan has referenced building his roster from the inside out, and Mauigoa would be a big boost to an offensive line that needs it. Miami ranked 24th in pass block win rate and 29th in run block win rate last season.
Mauigoa is a steady, well-built pass protector with raw power and the ability to get to the second level. Right tackle
At number 30, Yates has the Dolphins addressing their wide receiver needs.
KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M

And finally, with their lone second round pick, Yates has Miami bringing in an explosive pass rusher.
Malachi Lawrence, Edge, UCF
Needs exist all over the Dolphins’ roster, including opposite of Chop Robinson
Personally, if this is how the first two rounds of the 2026 NFL Draft shake out for the Dolphins, I would be ecstatic. All three players selected by Yates in this mock are players who would contribute heavily during their rookie seasons — something that the team will desperately need to happen if they hope to be competitive through the rebuilding process.
