NY Giants NFL draft news: Arizona CB confirms formal interview

Treydan Stukes, a cornerback from Arizona and a potential mid-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, has confirmed a formal interview with the New York Giants at the NFL Scouting Combine.

The Giants lost starting cornerback Cor’Dale Flott in free agency, replacing him with Greg Newsome on a one-year free agent contract. It won’t be any surprise if the Giants add a cornerback at some point in the upcoming draft.

Stukes, 6-foot-⅝, 190 pounds, is the 112th-ranked prospect on the Sports Information Solutions Big Board. That would place him as an early Day 3 prospect.

Stukes has primarily played in the slot.

SIS says:

Stukes has great size for the position with the height, strength, and length to offer value in multiple roles. He possesses the deep speed to carry receivers down the field while maintaining momentum flipping his hips. His reactive footwork is lacking, although that could be improved through better technique. He is a tough competitor who is comfortable stepping up and playing against bigger players, and he has shown a team-first approach while playing multiple roles in his collegiate career … Stukes projects as a backup cornerback, best suited for a 2-high scheme, with position versatility. Given his length, physicality, and mirroring issues near the line, some teams may view him as a safety. He is best playing inside, but has the traits to move outside when needed. On third downs, he can be a chess piece to maximize the overall defensive scheme, primarily playing a Big Nickel role.

Local pro day

Connor Hulstein, a tight end from Marist, and Jalen Berger, a running back from UCLA who attended Don Bosco Prep in New Jersey, will be among the participants in the Giants upcoming local pro day. That news from their agent, Sean Stellato.

Hulstein caught 42 passes for Marist in 2025. He had 11 catches in 26 games over four seasons at Princeton prior to that.

Berger just completed a six-year college career. He played two years each at Wisconsin, Michigan State, and UCLA. He concluded his college career with 386 carries for 1,707 yards, 4.4 yards per attempt. He also caught 48 passes.
