On Monday, it was announced that Indianapolis Colts free agent linebacker Segun Olubi had reached a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders—by his new team:
Originally signed by the San Francisco 49ers in 2022 as an undrafted free agent, the 26-year-old linebacker has spent the last four seasons in Indianapolis.
During 51 career games (2 starts)—all with Indianapolis, Olubi has 50 tackles (35 solo), an interception, a pass defensed, a forced fumble, and 2 fumble recoveries.
This past season, Olubi appeared in all 17 games, recording 11 tackles (9 solo). He appeared in 80% of the Colts’ total special team snaps last season. Per PFF, he earned a +64.4 overall grade during 2025.
It comes just a week after the Raiders inked former Colts starting defensive end Kwity Paye to a 3-year, $48 million deal—as Olubi will now rejoin his ex-Indianapolis teammate in Las Vegas.
Both defenders will now play under first-year Raiders defensive coordinator Rob Leonard on first-year head coach Klint Kubiak’s debut coaching staff next season.
