2026 NFL Free Agency | Miami Dolphins re-sign TE Greg Dulcich

The Miami Dolphins have made calculated moves today, first releasing franchise quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and then signing his replacement, Malik Willis, to a life-altering contract.

It was a pleasant surprise for a team that many thought was dead in the water before the league year even kicked off. However, with so many remaining holes on the roster, there was still plenty of work to be done for general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and head coach Jeff Hafley.

Some of that work involved re-signing their own free agents before the new NFL league year, which officially kicks off on Wednesday at 4 PM EDT. One of those signings came a short time ago when ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler announced that tight Greg Dulcich would be returning to the Dolphins on a one-year deal.

Dulcich, 26, was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the third round (80th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft.

The former UCLA standout started the 2025 NFL season on the Dolphins’ practice squad before being promoted to the active roster on October 22nd — shortly after the team parted ways with Jonnu Smith. In ten games with Miami, Dulcich caught 26 of 33 targets for 335 yards and one touchdown.

Now, he has a chance to continue to develop in an offense that should be eerily similar to the one he flourished in last year under former HC Mike McDaniel.

There’s also the Malik Willis factor, which could change things drastically as the team looks to find a new offensive identity in 2026. A new offensive identity that we now know will involve 6’4, 245-lbs. Greg Dulcich.

I’m excited to see what Bobby Slowik and company can cook up.

What are your thoughts on the Miami Dolphins re-signing Greg Dulcich? How do you think he will fit into an offense now conducted by Malik Willis? What other free agents are you hoping Miami signs? Let us know in the comments section below!
