Many speculated that it was a reference to a potential blockbuster trade involving star pass rusher Maxx Crosby. It turns out that speculation was based in reality. According to multiple reports, the Ravens have agreed to terms on a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders for the standout defender. As reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Ravens are sending their 2026 first-round pick (No. 14 overall) and their 2027 first-round pick to the Raiders in exchange for Crosby. According to several reports, the Raiders have traded the heart-and-soul of the franchise to the Baltimore Ravens. The Raiders got a huge haul as they received a 2026 first-round pick (No. 14 overall) and a 2027 first-round pick for Crosby.

This is a massive swing by Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta. The franchise has never traded a first-round pick for a player, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic. Now, they have moved two, including the No. 14 pick in April’s draft, which would have been tied for their highest selection since 2016.

NFL free agency will officially get underway on March 11, but the Eagles aren’t waiting around to make moves to start building their 2026 roster. Howie Roseman has been known to do bring guys back before they hit the market, but he’ll have some tough decisions to make this season as the salary cap and the future cost of a young, dominant defense are front of mind.
There is a lot of uncertainty with the Eagles right now because there are so many things in the air. Howie could finalize some big deals and blow us away. Or this could all blow over and nothing significant happens. AJ stays in Philly and the big focus is on keeping Phillips. The good news is that the Eagles have a strong roster and can choose to be aggressive or to sit back. Howie doesn’t have to force things. We can speculate and talk about what we want to happen. That’s the fun of the offseason. Between free agency, trades and the draft, Howie will have a lot of options. Choosing the right ones is what makes him so good at what he does. The next week or so could be a lot of fun. At the very least, it should be interesting.

Romeo Doubs (25): At 6’2” 205 pounds, Doubs would bring a hard-nosed, workman-like mentality to this new offense. He’s not a blazer like Pierce or Robinson, but he’s extremely reliable over the middle and is not afraid to make tough catches in traffic. He’s also a very solid blocker in the run game – something I feel Blough will value.

Giants fans believe that Eluemunor is the most likely to return among the top free agents. Eluemunor is over the age of 30 and is a good — but not great — starter, but he still might be the Giants’ most important starter. Losing Eluemunor creates a massive hole that the Giants need to fill, but their options could be limited. The free agent pool at offensive tackle — let alone specifically right tackle — is limited this year. If the Giants cant retain Eluemunor and the pool dries up, the Giants would be forced to turn to the draft. Unfortunately, this year’s tackle class isn’t great either. The top two tackles in the class, Francis Mauigoa and Spencer Fano, might not even be tackles at the NFL level. [BLG Note: The Giants are so OL starved that their fans seem to think this mediocre journeyman entering his age 32 season is a must keep player for them.]
