Eagles Question of the Day:

Do you wish the Eagles paid the price for Maxx Crosby or are you happy they didn’t make that move? Head over to The Feed and weigh in with your answer and explanation!

Let’s get to the Philadelphia Eagles news and links …

Maxx Crosby trade grades for Ravens-Raiders blockbuster – SB Nation

Earlier in the day on Friday, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson sent social media into hyperdrive when he shared this meme. Many speculated that it was a reference to a potential blockbuster trade involving star pass rusher Maxx Crosby. It turns out that speculation was based in reality. According to multiple reports, the Ravens have agreed to terms on a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders for the standout defender. As reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Ravens are sending their 2026 first-round pick (No. 14 overall) and their 2027 first-round pick to the Raiders in exchange for Crosby. Let’s hand out some grades.

Las Vegas Raiders trade Maxx Crosby to Baltimore Ravens – Silver And Black Pride

A move that has been brewing for months has finally happened — superstar pass-rusher Maxx Crosby is a former Las Vegas Raider. According to several reports, the Raiders have traded the heart-and-soul of the franchise to the Baltimore Ravens. The Raiders got a huge haul as they received a 2026 first-round pick (No. 14 overall) and a 2027 first-round pick for Crosby.

Ravens land Maxx Crosby in blockbuster trade with Raiders – Baltimore Beatdown

The Ravens are adding one of the best pass rushers in the league to their defense. Maxx Crosby is on his way to Baltimore, with first-round picks in 2026 and 2027 heading to Las Vegas in exchange, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. This is a massive swing by Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta. The franchise has never traded a first-round pick for a player, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic. Now, they have moved two, including the No. 14 pick in April’s draft, which would have been tied for their highest selection since 2016.

Eagles Free Agency Tracker: Rumors, Reports, and Signings – BGN

NFL free agency will officially get underway on March 11, but the Eagles aren’t waiting around to make moves to start building their 2026 roster. After a disappointing end to the 2025 season, the Eagles had 20 players set to be free agents. Howie Roseman has been known to do bring guys back before they hit the market, but he’ll have some tough decisions to make this season as the salary cap and the future cost of a young, dominant defense are front of mind.

In the Air – Iggles Blitz

There is a lot of uncertainty with the Eagles right now because there are so many things in the air. Howie could finalize some big deals and blow us away. Or this could all blow over and nothing significant happens. AJ stays in Philly and the big focus is on keeping Phillips. The good news is that the Eagles have a strong roster and can choose to be aggressive or to sit back. Howie doesn’t have to force things. We can speculate and talk about what we want to happen. That’s the fun of the offseason. Between free agency, trades and the draft, Howie will have a lot of options. Choosing the right ones is what makes him so good at what he does. The next week or so could be a lot of fun. At the very least, it should be interesting.

Comparing Malik Willis to prior small-sample wonders, plus Dane Brugler’s post-combine risers – The Athletic

Meanwhile, Philly GM Howie Roseman’s philosophy has remained consistent: He won’t part with a great player for nothing, especially with his team in the middle of its championship window. His asking price for Brown: a first- and a second-round pick.

Fletcher Cox Looks to Sell New Jersey Home For $1.5 Million – Homes Of Celebs

After 12 seasons in the NFL and 2 years into retirement, Fletcher Cox is looking to sell his Mullica Hill, New Jersey home. The retired Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle has listed the 5,575-square-foot property for $1.5 million, which is roughly 30 minutes from Lincoln Financial Field.

Jets offseason quarterback rumor mill is heating up – Gang Green Nation

I’m not entirely sure what the Jets would see in Carson Wentz beyond his relationship with Reich. He hasn’t been a full-time starter in the league since 2022 and hasn’t been a quality starter since 2019. I’m struggling to see the fit even as a backup. Tyrod Taylor was on the team in 2025 in no small part due to his locker room influence while questions about Wentz’s leadership ability have followed him through his career.

NFL free agency: Raiders trade Maxx Crosby to Ravens, not Cowboys – Blogging The Boys

ESPN noted that the Cowboys were willing to offer a first- and second-round pick to Las Vegas for Crosby. It is worth pointing out that Dallas has a bit of a caveat going with first-round pick in 2027, they technically hold two right now, but the better of them belongs to the New York Jets in the aftermath of the Quinnen Williams trade which Dallas did execute at the deadline. Bobby Belt explained how they technically could have offered it in a trade.

Commanders need to go big or go home in free agency – offensive edition – Hogs Haven

Romeo Doubs (25): At 6’2” 205 pounds, Doubs would bring a hard-nosed, workman-like mentality to this new offense. He’s not a blazer like Pierce or Robinson, but he’s extremely reliable over the middle and is not afraid to make tough catches in traffic. He’s also a very solid blocker in the run game – something I feel Blough will value.

Most NY Giants fans think Jermaine Eluemunor will be re-signed – Big Blue View

Giants fans believe that Eluemunor is the most likely to return among the top free agents. Eluemunor is over the age of 30 and is a good — but not great — starter, but he still might be the Giants’ most important starter. Losing Eluemunor creates a massive hole that the Giants need to fill, but their options could be limited. The free agent pool at offensive tackle — let alone specifically right tackle — is limited this year. If the Giants cant retain Eluemunor and the pool dries up, the Giants would be forced to turn to the draft. Unfortunately, this year’s tackle class isn’t great either. The top two tackles in the class, Francis Mauigoa and Spencer Fano, might not even be tackles at the NFL level. [BLG Note: The Giants are so OL starved that their fans seem to think this mediocre journeyman entering his age 32 season is a must keep player for them.]
