The 2026 NFL Combine is already underway down in Indianapolis. While the televised portion of on-field drills don’t begin until Thursday, there are plenty of things already happening at and around Lucas Oil Stadium.
Pride of Detroit will be down in Indianapolis for the festivities, mostly covering the media-specific events. That means talking to Dan Campbell, Brad Holmes, Drew Petzing, and Kelvin Sheppard. But it also means meeting some of this year’s best 2026 NFL Draft prospects and sharing those insights with you throughout the week.
On this week’s PODcast, we preview the week in Indianapolis. After a brief chat about Rod Wood’s incoming retirement, we discuss the top things we’re hoping to learn from the Detroit Lions’ media sessions. Will we get any more insight into the Lions’ plans on the offensive line, including the statuses of Taylor Decker, Graham Glasgow, and Tate Ratledge? Will Holmes give us any idea into how much cap space he’ll free up via restructures? And what else can we learn from the coordinators and how they plan to improve from a disappointing 2025 season.
After the break, Meko Scott, Ryan Mathews, and I all share three NFL Draft prospects we’re going to keep a close eye on at the Combine. The list of the nine players we discuss is below. That discussion begins around the 38:30 mark of the PODcast, if you want to jump straight to that part of the show:
- Stanford TE Sam Roush
- Clemson OT Blake Miller
- Alabama OT Kadyn Proctor
- Penn State iOL Vega Ioane
- Clemson EDGE T.J. Parker
- Auburn EDGE Keldric Faulk
- Illinois EDGE Gabe Jacas
- Miami DB Kionte Scott
- Toledo DB Emmanuel McNeil-Warren
