Eagles Question of the Day:

Do you wish the Eagles brought Frank Reich back? Head over to The Feed and weigh in with your answer and explanation!

Let’s get to the Philadelphia Eagles news and links …

Frank Reich is the master of the comeback. The Jets might be his biggest challenge yet – The Athletic

In fact, he’s still getting paid by the Panthers because, the year before the Colts fired him, he signed an extension that the Panthers picked up. They owe him through 2026. After the season at Stanford, Reich, at 64, could have lived the good life and cashed his checks. He could have been an adviser to one of his coaching friends, such as Philadelphia Eagles coach Nick Sirianni, with whom he discussed the possibility a couple of months ago. But the Jets presented an opportunity for a comeback. And Reich is all about the comeback.

The Sean Mannion Offense: Part 4: Other Concepts – BGN

of what I’ve discussed is how the run and pass are tied together, which makes everything easier for the quarterback. However, even the best systems need some classic passing concepts. You need a quarterback to throw it down the field and a receiver to win a contested catch, separate at the catch point, or something to do something special. This article is a bit more random, but I’m trying to focus on some of the concepts and extras I expect. I think Green Bay’s offense over the past year is more of a ‘greatest hits’ of concepts offense than the Rams have been under McVay, or the 49ers under Shanahan. I think LaFleur is a bit more expansive when it comes to running standalone concepts that aren’t necessarily tied to the running game. It’s why I see the Packers’ offense as a good fit for the Eagles, as it is sort of McVay/Shanahan without being all the way in. They are quite vertical, which suits this current Eagles’ roster.

Good OL News – Iggles Blitz

Mekhi Becton is expected to be released in the coming weeks. I’m just not sure he’s a good fit for the new system so the team may not be interested in a reunion. The Eagles may now prefer blockers that aren’t as tall and are more athletic. They’ll still want big, strong blockers. There will just be more of an emphasis on movement skills than sheer size and power.

Eagles Stay or Go 2026: Special teams – NBCSP

Jake Elliott. Roob: Tough one because Elliott has been so good for so long. But not the last two years. He’s one of the worst kickers in the NFL since 2024 with pedestrian 76 percent accuracy and an NFL-worst 33 percent from 50 yards and out. He’s 31 now and three years removed from his last elite season. In the modern NFL, it’s tough to get by with a 75 percent kicker and a 33 percent kicker from 50 yards and out. Elliott is the greatest kicker in Eagles history and his Super Bowl LII performance was brilliant. But it’s time. It’s been two years of inconsistency. He’s just not good enough anymore. Verdict: Goes.

Ranking deepest, thinnest positions in NFL free agency, draft – ESPN

1) Edge rusher. Good year to need … any sort of edge rusher at all Bad year to need … a truly elite dude (unless you’d like to send two first-rounders for Maxx Crosby). If your favorite team’s general manager can’t find a good fit at edge rusher this offseason, tell him to take a hike. Putting aside the Crosby trade rumors for now, here’s a list of expected free agent edge rushers: Trey Hendrickson, Odafe Oweh, Jaelan Phillips, Khalil Mack, K’Lavon Chaisson, Boye Mafe, Joey Bosa and Jadeveon Clowney. The main thing that impresses me is the variety. Oweh, Chaisson and Mafe are speed artists who can create pressure fast. Guys like Mack, Clowney and Kingsley Enagbare (Packers) are all hitters in the running game. Want to gamble on injured, aging veterans? Hendrickson, Bosa, Cameron Jordan (Saints) and Von Miller (Commanders) could all have something left. What about undeveloped traits? Kwity Paye (Colts) and Arnold Ebiketie (Falcons) are your guys. There’s something for everyone in this group. Hendrickson, Oweh and Phillips can all reasonably be projected for 10-plus sacks next season, while Mafe, Chaisson, Mack and Bosa can all be eight-sack players. And that’s without any surprises from more middle-tier veterans like Dre’Mont Jones and Al-Quadin Muhammad.

ESPN has Dallas Cowboys win total at 8.5 for 2026 season, second in NFC East – Blogging The Boys

The buildings in Las Vegas are tall and shiny for a reason. Generally speaking the folks in the desert know a thing or two about the lines that they set for the world of sports. Nobody has a perfect batting average, but it goes without saying that we have all seen a situation unfold where it felt like they just knew. In that respect it is always interesting to see where futures lie with regards to things concerning the Dallas Cowboys. On Thursday future win totals for all 32 NFL teams were released by ESPN and they had America’s Team listed at 8.5, the second-most in the NFC East.

NY Giants NFL free agency 2026: ‘Everybody’ wants Tyler Linderbaum – Big Blue View

Tyler Linderbaum might be at the top of the New York Giants’ NFL free agency wish list as they aim to upgrade in the trenches. Getting him, though, is not going to be easy. “Everybody” wants Linderbaum, according to NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah. “I love my job, but if I could switch jobs for just the next couple months I’d want to be Tyler Linderbaum’s agent,” Jeremiah said Thursday on a pre-NFL Scouting Combine call with media. ‘Everybody that I talk to seems to be in on Tyler Linderbaum. It sounds like he’s going to have a robust market.“ Linderbaum, of course, was the center for Giants coach John Harbaugh with the Baltimore Ravens for the past four years. The 25th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Linderbaum was named to the Pro Bowl in each of his last three seasons.

5 Tyreek Hill landing spots in NFL free agency after Dolphins release – SB Nation

The Miami Dolphins are cleaning house. Miami made several moves on Monday ahead of the true start to the NFL offseason, including releasing veteran wide receiver Tyreek Hill. The wideout is working back from a dislocated knee he suffered during the 2025 season, and said recently that he is “feeling good” about his rehab. Hill was one of four players the Dolphins released on Monday, including pass rusher Bradley Chubb, guard James Daniels, and wideout Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. The four cuts together clear over $56 million in 2026 cap space for the Dolphins as new head coach Jeff Hafley and general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan take over in Miami. While the injury could cost the 31-year-old WR the majority of his offseason, and cut into the next regular season, there are teams that would be smart to inquire about his availability. Here are five such teams.
