Is it any surprise that Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua find themselves atop some of the highest position scores as graded by Pro Football Focus?
Fact check this (if you want), but apparently Stafford was highest rated QB and Nacua was the highest rated WR as determined by PFF, I’ll share the link below.
“As such, the Rams’ top offensive players were also leaders in Pro Football Focus grades by season’s end. Stafford and Nacua led their respective position categories following the 2025 season, with Stafford finishing 0.01 points higher than Joe Burrow for the top spot and Nacua finishing 2.9 points higher than Jaxon Smith-Njigba.“
I know some of our readers don’t care for PFF and their grades, and that’s fair, but consider PFF to just be another tool, another source of information, and in this case, this information is very positive for the Rams.
Of course, did those high grades lead to a Super Bowl? No, but that doesn’t mean that Stafford and Nacua shouldn’t be proud of the 2025 season that they just put on tape.
Happy Hump Day, and thanks for checking out Turf Show Times! Would you kindly comment away?
Los Angeles Rams Mock Offseason 1.0: The Rams can afford an all-in free agency splash for one more season with Matthew Stafford (atozsports)
“They have one more year with Matthew Stafford under center, and everyone in the building knows it. The team is in Super Bowl or Bust mode, and they have to nail every move in the offseason for one more run after coming tantalizingly close in 2024 and 2025. General manager Les Snead has already said he’s willing to revert back to his old ways and get aggressive. How does that look? I did a mock offseason, mixing what I think the team will do with what I would do.“
Daniel Jeremiah’s latest mock draft has Rams going all secondary (ramswire)
“The Los Angeles Rams will take a hard look at their secondary this offseason after being gashed in the NFC championship game. And with two first-round picks, it’s pretty easy for them to upgrade the entire unit without breaking the bank in free agency.
NFL.com’s Daniel Jeremiah went through his second mock draft of the offseason ahead of the NFL Scouting Combine and handed the Rams two defensive backs with the team’s two first-round picks: Toledo safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren at No. 13 and Tennessee cornerback Colton Hood at No. 29.“
