The New York Giants on Friday signed wide receiver Courtney Jackson to a reserve/futures contract. Jackson spent the 2025 season on the practice squad for the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks.
A 5-foot-11, 179-pound player out of Syracuse and Arkansas State, Jackson was on the Denver Broncos’ practice squad in 2024 and the Seahawks’ practice squad in 2025.
Jackson caught 144 passes in 62 collegiate games for the two schools, averaging 12.8 yards per catch and scoring 13 receiving touchdowns.
Jackson averaged 14.0 yards on 40 collegiate punt returns, and 20.3 yards on seven kickoff returns.
The Seahawks signed 15 players to reserve/futures contracts this week. Jackson was one of only four players on the team’s practice squad not to get a contract to stay with the team this offseason.
The Giants moved quickly to bring him in. This, though, will hardly be the biggest offseason move the Giants make at the receiver position.
