With the hiring of a new general manager — Jon-Eric Sullivan — and new head coach — Jeff Hafley — the Miami Dolphins are in the midst of a major staffing overhaul. While that means new faces are appearing in Miami Gardens, that also means familiar faces will be departing.
On Wednesday morning, it was reported by Tom Pelissero of NFL Network that the New York Jets are hiring former Miami Dophins defensive pass game coordinator and secondary coach Brian Duker as their new defensive coordinator. Duker joins head coach Aaron Glenn’s staff after the two men spent time together with the Detroit Lions.
Duker — just 36 years old — had been with the Dolphins for the past two seasons, but now moves on after the dismissal of former head coach Mike McDaniel.
We will continue to keep you updated with all of Miami’s additions and subtractions as the offseason rolls on.
