The Miami Dolphins continue a major overhaul to their staff following the hires of new general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and new head coach Jeff Hafley — both formerly of the Green Bay Packers.
On Sunday, multiple reports indicated that the team had hired a new wide receivers coach — Tyke Tolbert. He replaces former receivers coach Robert Prince who recently interviewed with the New York Giants for their offensive coordinator position.
Tolbert comes to Miami from the Tennessee Titans where he held the same title. He will now work under Bobby Slowik who was recently promoted to offensive coordinator of the Dolphins.
Tolbert, 58 years old, brings 32 years of coaching experience to South Florida. He has worked for the Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, New York Giants, Chicago Bears and the previously mentioned Titans.
