The Los Angeles Rams will take on the Chicago Bears in the next round of the playoffs, and at this point, no matter who you play you’re going to play a tough opponent, but the Bears in Chicago? Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams with a defense that can force turnovers?
We have all week to dissect how Matthew Stafford has done over the course of his career against Chicago, and the idea of Sean McVay taking on Johnson again should give all of us plenty to talk about.
If nothing else, it’s an exciting matchup, but I think it’s going to be hard one for the Rams. Could be a tough one for the Bears too. That’s somewhat the idea of the playoffs, it’s all tough.

Bears to host Rams in next round of playoffs (chicago.suntimes)
“When the 49ers beat the Eagles 23-19 on Sunday night, the Rams punched their ticket to a Round 2 playoff game next weekend at Soldier Field. The NFL will announce the day and time of its playoff games later Sunday night.
During the regular season, head coach and play-caller Sean McVay’s Rams led the NFL with 394.6 yards per game and 30.5 points per game.“
“Let’s go snatch these guys’ hearts,” Stafford told the wide receiver, with the Rams trailing by four points.
Stafford led the Rams to a 34-31 victory with a seven-play, 71-yard drive that ended with a 19-yard touchdown pass to tight end Colby Parkinson.
“It was pretty cold, just to hear that,” Adams said. “And I actually literally smiled in the moment because I thought that was one of the most gangster things you could say at that moment, honestly. And to hear him say that and the look on his face and then throw that touchdown and then the look on his face after that was just MVP stuff.”
