Each week of the regular season, SB Nation tracks NFL fans’ confidence levels of their favorite teams with their Reacts Surveys posted on their team websites. For Pride of Detroit, we are tasked with gauging Detroit Lions fans’ confidence in the team heading into each game—and in this case, after the conclusion of the 2025 NFL regular season.
In this week’s Reacts survey, we have two questions for Lions fans:
- Are you confident the Lions are headed in the right direction?
- What grade would you give coach Dan Campbell for his performance during the 2025 season?
As for our weekly question, you can see the frustration from Lions fans in each week’s poll results (below). Over the final month of the season, the Lions failed to rise to the occasion and let their shot at the postseason slip through their fingers. However, Detroit did manage to halt their losing streak in the season finale, dispatching the NFC North Champion Chicago Bears and completing their sweep of their division rival. Was that win enough to sway fans into improving the recent survey results?

As for our second question, coach Dan Campbell was recently asked to assess his performance this past season. And in typical Campbell fashion, he took full responsibility and gave himself a harsh grade:
“Not good enough. We didn’t get in (to the Playoffs). I mean, we underachieved. So, not good. I’m going to give myself a freaking ‘F.’”
It certainly feels like Campbell viewed this question from a pass-fail perspective, but for our survey, we are giving fans a more traditional scale to grade Campbell’s performance. So, make sure to vote in the survey below, sound off in the comment section, and check back later in the week for the results from both surveys.
Throughout the year, we ask questions of the most plugged-in Detroit Lions fans and fans across the country. If you want to get these surveys emailed to you weekly, you can sign up here.
