The results are in for our final SB Nation Reacts poll of the 2025 season for our Minnesota Vikings, so let’s take a look at what our readers had to say about our questions for this week, shall we?
Yes, we shall.
Our first question for the week, as always, was whether or not you feel the Vikings are moving in the right direction. For a team that’s riding a four-game winning streak and getting back to .500 after looking like a complete disaster a month ago, the number is a bit lower than one might expect. I think so, anyway.
Of our respondents, 59% of them feel that the Vikings are, in fact, heading in the right direction. That’s a bit down from what we’ve seen recently and, again, a little bit of a surprise given where the team is now compared to where they were.
Here’s a quick rundown of the results of our confidence question for the entire season, including last week when we did not get the results of our poll due to the short week.
- Week 1: 99%
- Week 2: 93%
- Week 3: 43%
- Week 4: 91%
- Week 5: 44%
- Week 6: 62%
- Week 7: 56%
- Week 8: 31%
- Week 9: 20%
- Week 10: 68%
- Week 11: 39%
- Week 12: 32%
- Week 13: 11%
- Week 14: 13%
- Week 15: 43%
- Week 16: 67%
- Week 17: 40%
- Week 18: 59%
Not really sure what the reason for the big dip was following the win over the Giants in Week 16. Maybe the J.J. McCarthy injury really soured some folks, which I guess would make some sense, but man. . .that seems like a pretty significant drop.
Our other question for this week had to do with whether or not you’re pulling for the Vikings to finish the season with a win on Sunday, or if you’d rather see them drop the game to see them slightly improve their draft position. Right now, the Vikings are currently sitting with the 17th pick in the 206 NFL Draft, according to Tankathon. A loss likely won’t drop them any further than about the 13th or 14th pick, unless my math is off. I’m not sure how important that is anyway. . .I mean, Kwesi can’t draft anyway, amIright? Anyway, here’s what people thought on that front.
Of those who responded to our poll, nearly 80% of them are hoping for the Vikings to knock off the Packers on Sunday afternoon and finish the year with a five-game winning streak and a winning record for the season, while 21% favor the Vikings losing and getting that (potentially) slight improvement in their draft position. Again, I don’t know how much difference a few spots in the middle of the first round are going to make, to be honest.
Those are the results of the final SB Nation Reacts poll of our 2025 season, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you to everyone who participated in our poll this week, and for participating in all of our polls throughout this 2025 season. We’ll have some of these throughout the offseason as well, so keep your eyes open for those.
