NY Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys final score, results, draft order, recap NFL Week 18

The New York Giants used a fast start, explosive plays through the air and a strong second half to pull away from the Dallas Cowboys for a 34–17 win on Sunday — a result that means they can select no higher than No. 3 in the 2026 NFL Draft.

The opening quarter was a back-and-forth battle of field goals. Giants kicker Ben Sauls put New York on the board first with a 45-yard field goal, before Dallas answered with a 22-yarder from Brandon Aubrey. Sauls added another kick late in the quarter to make it 6–3, but the Cowboys closed the period with a burst, as Jaydon Blue capped a short drive with a 14-yard rushing touchdown to give Dallas a 10–6 lead.

New York steadied itself in the second quarter. Sauls trimmed the deficit with a 23-yard field goal, and just before halftime, quarterback Jaxson Dart delivered a momentum-shifting strike. Dart found Daniel Bellinger for a 29-yard touchdown with 20 seconds left, sending the Giants into the locker room up 16–10.

The Giants took control coming out of halftime. Dart hit Tyrone Tracy Jr. for a 13-yard touchdown early in the third quarter, and New York converted the two-point try when Devin Singletary found Darius Slayton, pushing the lead to 24–10.

Dallas tried to respond in the fourth quarter, grinding out a 10-play, 69-yard drive that ended with Phil Mafah’s one-yard touchdown run to cut the deficit to seven. But New York quickly slammed the door. Sauls drilled his fourth field goal of the night from 30 yards out, and Singletary sealed the game with a 6-yard touchdown run midway through the fourth to make it 34–17.

Dart finished an efficient night, completing 21 of 31 passes for 226 yards and two touchdowns without an interception. Tracy Jr. added 103 rushing yards and a receiving score, while Singletary chipped in a touchdown on the ground. Gunner Olszweski had 103 receiving yards.

The Giants finish the season 4-13.

New York Giants injuries

  • Linebacker Darius Muasau left the game in the third quarter with an ankle injury.
  • Cornerback Rico Payton was evaluated for a concussion in the fourth quarter.

What’s next for the Giants?

Two things. An official decision on the fate of GM Joe Schoen, followed by a search for the next head coach.
