Before the eighteenth Sunday of the 2025 regular season kicks off, let’s have some fun by taking a look at the lines for the NFL Week 18 games.
My overall record is 113-112-1. The BGN Community is just slightly behind at 112-113-1.
Here are suggestions when trying to beat the odds.
NFL WEEK 18 GAMES
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS at ATLANTA FALCONS (-4.5): The NFC South proxy championship! If the Saints win, the Bucs are in the playoffs. If the Falcons win, the Panthers are in the playoffs. Both of these teams have been playing their best football after being eliminated from playoff contention. I lean with taking the points here since Atlanta is coming off short rest and Tyler Shough has been looking good. PICK: Saints +4.5
CLEVELAND BROWNS at CINCINNATI BENGALS (-9.5): The Br0wns upset the Steelers last weekend but I don’t think they’ll have that kind of success again this weekend. The Bengals can score enough points to score this line. PICK: Bengals -9.5
DALLAS COWBOYS (-3) at NEW YORK GIANTS: It would be hilarious if the Giants screwed up and won this game. Unfortunately, it won’t happen. Dallas finishing the season at 8-8-1 is too perfect to not come to pass. PICK: Cowboys -3
GREEN BAY PACKERS at MINNESOTA VIKINGS (-12.5): With the Packers locked into the No. 7 seed, they’re going to be resting starters. The Vikings are trying to end their season on a five-game winning streak. PICK: Vikings -12.5
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS at HOUSTON TEXANS (-9.5): I sure don’t love the idea of Riley Leonard going up against this Texans defense. PICK: Texans -9.5
TENNESSEE TITANS at JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (-13.5): The Jags likely won’t be the No. 1 seed but they need to win to have a chance. PICK: Jaguars -13.5
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (-4.5) at LAS VEGAS RAIDERS: The Raiders are too invested in tanking not to lose this game. PICK: Chiefs -4.5
DETROIT LIONS at CHICAGO BEARS (-4.5): Maybe it’s silly to believe the Lions are going to sweep the Bears this season. But I think Dan Campbell could have his guys fired up to go 2-0 against Ben Johnson. If the Lions don’t win this game, they’re guaranteeing that one of their division rivals will make it to the second round of the playoffs since the Bears would be hosting the Packers in a Wild Card game. They shouldn’t want to see that. PICK: Lions +4.5
LOS ANGELES CHARGERS at DENVER BRONCOS (-14.5): The Bolts are resting starters. The Broncos can secure the No. 1 seed with a win. PICK: Broncos -14.5
MIAMI DOLPHINS at NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (-13.5): The Dolphins have been more competent than not lately. They could cover in a loss. PICK: Dolphins +13.5
WASHINGTON COMMANDERS at PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (-3.5): The Eagles are still favored despite the expectation they’ll play their backups against the Commanders’ starters. The feeling here is that Washington might put up an initial fight before Philly ultimately seals the deal in a four-point win. PICK: Eagles -3.5
ARIZONA CARDINALS at LOS ANGELES RAMS (-14.5): The Rams have motivation to win since they’ll play the NFC South winner (Panthers or Bucs) in the Wild Card round as opposed to making a trip to Philly or Chicago. Jonathan Gannon’s Cards have been lifeless and he might get fired. PICK: Rams -14.5
NEW YORK JETS at BUFFALO BILLS (-11.5): The Jets don’t look interested in fighting hard for Aaron Glenn. PICK: Bills -11.5
BALTIMORE RAVENS (-3.5) at PITTSBURGH STEELERS: Betting against Mike Tomlin a home underdog is a dangerous thing. The Steelers could still conceivably cover in a loss. PICK: Steelers +3.5
