The Philadelphia Eagles issued their third and final official injury report in advance of their Week 18 home game against the Washington Commanders.
The Eagles will be resting a number of key players in this game, including Jalen Hurts. Tanner McKee figures to start at quarterback. Some starters might dress for the game but won’t actually play.
The Eagles ruled six players OUT: Lane Johnson, Jalen Carter, Nakobe Dean, Jaelan Phillips, Dallas Goedert, and Marcus Epps.
Johnson was seen at the media-attended portion of practice for the first time since suffering an injury in Week 11 but he did not participate. The Eagles will seemingly get him back for their first playoff game.
Carter was unexpectedly added to the report on Thursday with a hip injury, which is new. The Eagles will hope it’s not too serious. He’ll be resting this weekend.
No need to rush Dean back from his hamstring injury in this game. He might be ready for the Eagles’ first playoff game.
No need to play Phillips when he’s already played 17 games this season since he was traded prior to the Miami Dolphins’ bye week.
Goedert played in the Eagles’ Week 18 game last year — when the team rested most other starters — in an effort to ramp him up for the playoffs. Guessing he wasn’t keen on playing in this game, especially when he’s so close to free agency. He could use the rest anyway since he’s been banged up at times this season.
Epps suffered a concussion in Thursday’s practice. He’s out on Sunday and we’ll see next week if he’s able to ramp up in time to return for the Eagles’ first playoff game.
Jihaad Campbell is listed without a game status.
He is ready to play despite appearing on the injury report this week. The rookie linebacker was listed as limited on Wednesday before being full go on Thursday and Friday.
The Eagles have until 4:00 PM Eastern on Saturday to temporarily elevate up to two players from the practice squad to play on Sunday. Long snapper Charley Hughlett will presumably be one of those elevations.

Mukuba and Ojulari are currently eligible to return from IR. Practice windows to return from IR were previously opened for Lampkin and Hinton but the Eagles did not activate them before they closed, thus ending their seasons. BVS, Wilson, and Okoronkwo suffered season-ending injuries.
WASHINGTON COMMANDERS INJURY REPORT (FRIDAY)
The Commanders ruled three players OUT: Jayden Daniels, Marcus Mariota, and Laremy Tunsil.
With Washington shutting Jayden Daniels down for the season, Mariota was the Commanders’ starting quarterback until he got hurt against his former team in Week 16. Josh Johnson is set to start against the Eagles.
Tunsil’s absence leaves the Commanders without their starting left tackle. Brandon Coleman, Tunsil’s primary backup, is officially questionable to play. Coleman was unexpectedly added to the injury report on Thursday when he was limited due to a knee injury. He was upgraded to full go on Friday, however, so he’s probably going to suit up. To be determined if he can make it through the game.
