These are some of the best player prop bets to target in Week 17 for the 2025 NFL season.
WR Mason Tipton, New Orleans Saints: Over 2.5 receptions (+125)

With Devaughn Vele placed on season-ending injured reserve, Tipton and Kevin Austin Jr. saw increased snap shares in Week 16. Tipton recorded a season-high five targets and four receptions while posting a solid 16.7% target rate. Despite Tipton’s increased role, his reception lines have remained largely unchanged over the past five games. He has surpassed this 2.5 mark three times since the Saints’ Week 11 bye.
The Titans have had difficulties containing wideouts all season. While their overall statistical profile places them in the middle third of the NFL in receptions allowed to receivers, the efficiency metrics paint a more alarming picture. The Titans’ coverage unit ranks 31st in EPA per target (0.518) and yards per coverage target (9.7) allowed on throws to the receiver position.
One thing to monitor before placing this bet is Tipton’s health and game status. The second-year receiver is currently listed as questionable with a groin injury after logging three limited practices this week. Although it appears he will suit up, should he become a late scratch, Kevin Austin Jr. would be a name to target given the Saints’ scarcity at wide receiver outside of Chris Olave.
RB Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: Anytime TD (+105)

After some difficulties establishing a presence on the ground this season, Saquon Barkley and the Eagles’ running game have seen a resurgence in recent weeks. Since the beginning of December, the Eagles have risen to a top-10 mark in EPA per rush (0.022), powered by Barkley’s 5.3 yards per carry and three scores.
That trend should continue against a Bills defense that has struggled to fit the run all season, ranking 31st in rushing success rate allowed (34.5%) and having surrendered the most touchdowns on designed runs (23) in the NFL. And now with defensive tackles DaQuan Jones (calf) and Jordan Phillips (ankle) ruled out, the Bills will rely on a pair of rookies in T.J. Sanders (41.6 PFF run-defense grade) and Deone Walker (50.1) to fill the void on the interior.
