It’s not often that the two worst teams in the league square off this late in the season. So, the Las Vegas Raiders and New York Giants are set up for a big matchup in Week 17, as this game has appropriately been nicknamed ‘The Tank Bowl’!

The Raiders surprised a lot of people, myself included, with how well they played against the Houston Texans last week. If that carries over to this Sunday, they can absolutely beat the Giants. Jaxson Dart hasn’t been playing well since suffering a concussion over a month ago and is coming off a performance where he threw for just 33 yards. Also, outside of the defensive line, New York’s defense has a lot of issues. The only factor that gives me pause is that the Raiders put Brock Bowers and Jemery Chinn on injured reserve this week, a potential sign that the organization is leaning into the tank.

Now, it’s a matter of holding onto the one-game lead over the next month-plus to take home the writer’s crown. As for Ray, a 9-7 performance pushes him further down the standings.

Week 16 Top Picker
If JeepRaider ends up winning it all, we’ll look back at Week 16 as the defining moment. It’s been back and forth at the top of the community standings all season, but a 13-3 performance gives Jeep a two-game lead heading into the final two weeks of the regular season. We still have five people within three picks of each other, but the gap is starting to widen. Also, shoutout to Bleed Silver and Black Blood for a near-perfect week.
