- Start D’Andre Swift: The Chicago Bears running back has been a dependable fantasy starter, even amid Kyle Monangai‘s emergence, and that shouldn’t change this week.
- Sit Emeka Egbuka: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had multiple wide receivers return from injury, impacting Egbuka’s role in the offense.

I asked fantasy managers on the PFF Discord and Bluesky which players they are least sure about this week, and I compiled that list and ranked them against one another. If you have multiple players mentioned, you should start with the player ranked highest. At the bottom of each position, you’ll find players to start in place of the featured players and those to sit in favor of them.
If a player isn’t mentioned, that means they are very close to those with blurbs, and factors such as injuries on the opposing defenses or weather could influence the rankings. Situations involving injuries are also generally avoided because things typically don’t become clearer until closer to kickoff. As always, check the weekly PFF fantasy rankings for the most up-to-date information to help you make all start-sit decisions.
RUNNING BACKS
Swift has put together a successful fantasy season, averaging 14.8 PPR points per game, which ranks 13th among running backs. His 83.6 PFF rushing grade ranks ninth among running backs with at least 100 carries, and his 4.9 yards per carry also places him in the top 10.
He hasn’t had as much receiving work as fantasy managers would like, with rookie Kyle Monangai cutting into his workload, but Swift is still playing at least 50% of snaps in all situations outside of two-minute drills. Most importantly, he’s still playing more than 50% of snaps in goal-line and short-yardage situations, so he should continue to record at least half of the Bears’ rushing touchdowns.
Fantasy managers are likely concerned because Monangai received the goal-line work last week, but that has changed from one week to the next and has averaged out to Swift receiving more of those snaps. The Bears play the Green Bay Packers this week, which has been an average matchup for running backs. Chicago played the Packers in Week 14, and Swift ran 13 times for 63 yards and caught three passes for 19 yards.
Swift should be a mid-to-high RB2 this week. Monangai’s continued emergence moves him down from his RB13 overall ranking this season, but not by much.
Swift was a surprise addition to the injury report on Wednesday with a groin injury. He also dealt with a groin injury from Weeks 8-10, which led Chicago to shut him down for Week 9. However, he was still very productive in the games he played with the injury, so as long as Swift is playing, he should stay in fantasy starting lineups.
