The Philadelphia Eagles are now 8-5 heading into their Week 15 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders (2-11) on Sunday afternoon.
The Eagles are now on a multi-game losing streak, and while the postseason is still a possibility, they need to find a way to be efficient and also play clean football — turnovers and pre-snap penalties have been costly. They certainly have the upper-hand when it comes to their schedule to finish the regular season, but confidence in the Birds is low, even against a 2-11 Raiders team.
They’ll be facing former Eagles QB Kenny Pickett, who has been named the starter for Sunday’s game. He’s someone the Eagles defense is familiar with, but haven’t seen a ton from him this season in Las Vegas. Pickett did get some playing time last week against the Broncos, and finished the game 8-of-11 for 97 total yards and a touchdown, so he’s at least not rusty heading into the matchup.
All eyes will be on Jalen Hurts and the Eagles offense as they try and find ways to sustain drives, to finish in the redzone with a touchdown, and to consistently attack in the run game. The list of issues they’ve had the past few weeks goes far beyond those few points, but it would be a start.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the game.
