So, to the best of my knowledge the Los Angeles Rams are favored at home this Sunday, but would you rather they weren’t? (Have I already asked this?)
I think many fans (including myself) like the underdog marker, but usually a team is an underdog for a reason, and the reason is that the team is perceived to not be as good as the favored team.
So, on the one hand, being an underdog can be great for motivation, but on the other hand, you’re an underdog for a reason and it’s not always a positive one.
All this to say, check the video below if you want (and if you can check the comments because the ones I saw said they’d rather the Rams were the underdogs and they don’t love all the “glaze” being thrown the Rams way). I am going to guess many of our readers agree.
I go back and forth. I’m not complicated, I just have a hard time picking a side here. Please comment on whatever you want and have a great Saturday! You deserve it.
How the Los Angeles Rams can clinch a playoff spot in NFL Week 15 (sports.yahoo.com)
“Heading into Week 15 of the 2025 NFL season, nine teams have already been eliminated from playoff contention. On the flip side, no teams have clinched a playoff berth, yet. However, the Los Angeles Rams could change that as they’ll have an opportunity to clinch a spot in the postseason on Sunday.
At 10-3, Los Angeles’ path to clinching their third consecutive playoff berth is simple – they can do so with a win over the Detroit Lions. That’s it. Win and they’re in.“

“This upcoming game will dictate the scenario in which the Rams must endure to end the season and with the prospect of a Super Bowl and then a massive job oppertunity, the coaches on the team are locked in for the final stretch.
On Thursday, the Rams coordinators spoke to reporters, answering a variety of questions regarding the game, their side of the ball, and the growth of the roster.
Chris Shula, Mike LaFleur, and Chase Blackburn had a lot to say.“
