[UPDATE]: After being ruled questionable to return with a calf injury, Landon Dickerson did make it back out onto the field for the Eagles last drive of the third quarter.
The Eagles offense continued to struggle to do much of anything against the Chargers on Monday night, and when the run game finally seemed to get some traction, Landon Dickerson was seen limping off the field. He ultimately went to the locker room, and after halftime, was ruled questionable to return to the game due to a calf injury.
Dickerson has left several games early this season as he’s dealt with various issues, including a back injury and an ankle injury. Some games he’s returned, but not all. With Dickerson out, Brett Toth stepped in at left guard. Toth has seen quite a bit of playing time this season, as the Eagles’ offensive line has suffered injuries at nearly every position.
There are so many issues with the team’s offense, that having a backup LG isn’t their biggest concern, but getting Dickerson healthy needs to be a priority — and hopefully it’s not a long-term concern.
