L.A. Rams News: Can they keep leaning on their tight ends?

The Los Angeles Rams are at their best when the team is at their best, and their offense seems at their best, when their tight ends are at their best. Can the team continue to let its TE’s shine?

It’s been great to see Colby Parkinson proving he was worth L.A. adding, and maybe some fans will say “he doesn’t live up to his contract”, but Parkinson has been big for the Rams this season. As has Davis Allen, Terrance Ferguson and Tyler Higbee (when healthy). Can they keep it up?

Sean McVay may be using high tight ends more than ever, and he seems to be mixing it up on offense compared to his usual 11-personnel, will that continue?

It’s been an entertaining Rams’ season for plenty of reasons, their winning, they are fun to watch and we don’t even know if they are playing their best ball of 2025. There could be more to come.

Stay tuned.

Rams Week 14 snap counts: LA makes massive change on offense vs. Cards (ramswire)

“They did so without using their wide receivers very much, too. They leaned heavily on their tight ends, shifting massively toward 13 personnel with Colby Parkinson, Davis Allen and Terrance Ferguson. That gave Puka Nacua, Davante Adams and the receivers a lighter workload, though Nacua still turned his limited snaps into a huge day.

Los Angeles’ massive shift on offense once again showed Sean McVay’s willingness to adapt, attacking the Cardinals’ light personnel with heavy packages by putting three tight ends on the field and running it straight at Arizona.“

Revealing the Rams’ Biggest Winner From Cardinals Blowout (si.com)

LaFleur, who has his fingerprints all over the Rams offense, was asked to step into a bigger role as McVay was battling a sickness. LaFleur not only prepared the game plan but was tasked with relaying offensive play calls into Matthew Stafford’s helmet, putting him as close to the driver’s seat as possible.

The offense was on the money all day against the Cardinals as a 45-17 bully beatdown sent the Rams back to the top of the NFC standings. However, the true winner was LaFleur himself, who has quickly gone from Rams assistant to head coaching candidate in one quick strike.“

Early Week 15 bets: Underdog Patriots to top Bills, Lions to cover in shootout with Rams among picks (espn.com)

“Among them are the Detroit Lions visiting the Los Angeles Rams (-6, 55.5), with both teams coming off big wins, the New England Patriots hosting the Buffalo Bills (-1.5, 50.5) in a key AFC East clash and the NFC North-leading Green Bay Packers (-2.5, 43.5) hitting the road to face the AFC West front-running Denver Broncos.“
