The Philadelphia Eagles are now 8-4 and on the road in Week 14 against the Los Angeles Chargers (8-4) on Monday Night Football.
Coming off two losses in a row, the Eagles had a mini-bye week to get things right ahead of the final stretch of the season. Thanks to a Cowboys loss this week, the Eagles still hold the top place in the NFC East, but they need to win more games to secure the title and a postseason spot.
Head coach Nick Sirianni didn’t want to point fingers and assign blame, once again emphasizing the need for collaborative solutions, but reports out of the NovaCare Complex noted he was more involved in the offensive meetings this week. Sirianni was speaking more at the beginning of those meetings, and then ceding the floor to OC Kevin Patullo who ran things the rest of the time.
Jalen Hurts, for his part, said he spent the extra few days watching a lot of film spanning the past few years to look for things that worked, went well, and to see areas they struggled. The QB also spent a lot of time talking to Sirianni and figuring out their approach to the offense.
There’s still a lot of reasons to be excited about this Eagles team, but they haven’t shown very many of them the past few weeks. Hopefully, they’re able to prevent a repeat of what feels like the same collapse fans had to endure in 2023. Running back A.J. Dillon did add a giant inflatable Easter bunny to the locker room in an effort to boost the vibes, so at least they’re trying…
Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the game.
