So, this happened in the Philadelphia Eagles’ locker room over the weekend:
This development obviously goes one of two ways for the Birds with no in-between.
- The Eagles beat the Los Angeles Chargers to kick off a run into the playoffs and this positivity rabbit becomes this year’s version of previous viral fan props like copies of “Inner Excellence” last year or the underdog masks from 2017. Or the idea that Nick Sirianni shaving his head (AKA Baldianni) was the impetus for the Eagles’ turnaround in 2024. Or Sirianni’s flower speech from 2021.
- The Eagles lose to the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night and the positivity rabbit becomes a cursed image as the team undergoes another 2023-like collapse.
Which one do you think it is?
My take? Might as well try something new to change up the apparent bad vibes, I guess. But the bunny isn’t working on me just yet. Need to see some proof that there is hope for this uninspiring offense.
