The Los Angeles Rams lead the Arizona Cardinals by a score of 24-10 after the first half of play as the Rams controlled most of the first half and now have a real chance to getting to a 10-3 record before the end of the day.
L.A. won the coin toss and chose to defer and Arizona took advantage of this by marching down the field and taking a 7-0 lead on a Jacoby Brissett throwing score.
The Rams responded with a nice drive, but stalled out near the goal line and had to settle for a field goal.
L.A.’s defense was able to make a stop and force the ball back to their offense. Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford were able to put together another productive drive, but this one ended with a Blake Corum rushing score as the Rams took a 10-7 lead.
The Cardinals were able to again gain some stride on offense and tied the game at 10-10 with a field goal.
L.A. then put together their productive drive of the day, and this one ended with a Kyren Williams rushing score to give the Rams a 17-10 lead after the successful extra point by Harrison Mevis.
With 12-second left to go in the first half, Stafford found Puka Nacua for a passing score, and as the Rams built their lead to 24-10 before the second quarter came to its formal end.
