Joseph Ossai and Myles Murphy
Ossai had has most impactful game of the season against the Baltimore Ravens on Thanksgiving night. He recorded two sacks with eight pressures in the game. Him and Myles Murphy have really started to stack some quality games the last few weeks. Murphy added five pressures with a batted pass that led to an interception against Baltimore.
Facing Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills will be an even bigger test for these young defensive ends. Trey Hendrickson is once again doubtful to play, Ossai and Murphy will need to continue producing in his absence. Slowing down James Cook will be a big part of whether or not they have success this week. Cook comes into the game with over 1,450 all-purpose yards on the season.
Chase Brown
Brown set a franchise record by recording his sixth straight game with over 100 yards from scrimmage. He is playing like a top five running back during the six game stretch.
The Bills have statistically been the best defense against the pass during the season, allowing only 168.2 yards per game. Meanwhile, they are ranked 30th against the run. Giving up 148.9 yards per game on the ground. Getting Chase Brown and the rushing attack going early and often will be key in beating the Bills.
